The Inline Media Button Utility

1. The function of utility: allow to display the “Play Media” (video and audio) button and download these files at the list of articles. The utility makes it easy when users want to monitor/download video/audio and may not need to see the article content.

2. The installing process:

Step 1:  Login to the admin page.

Add the phrase “/siteadmin” after the address of VNVN CMS 3.0 news website to login to the admin.

Step 2: Login to the Overview page. 

Enter your username ==> Enter your registered password ==> “Login”.

Step 3: Install the utility to the website.

Select “Setup” ==> “Utility” ==> “All” ==> “Inline Media Button – 1.0.0” utility ==> “Free” ==> “Install” ==> “Agree”.

Step 4: Turn on the display buttons –     “Play” Media and “Download” Media.

After successfully installing the utility, for the Play Media and Download Media buttons be able to work at the website layout, you should setup the display of these buttons. There are two ways:

Method 1: Go to “Categories” ==> Select “Multi article category”.

==> Select “Display” ==> at “Show” box, click to turn on “Play Media Button” and “Download Media Button”.

==> Method 2: You can go to “Layout” ==> select widget “Article Box” ==> “Display” ==> turn on “Play Media Button” and “Download Media Button”.

Step 5: Check out the operation of utility.

After installing the utility, outside the website layout, the articles containing audio/video will display Play Media Button and Download Media button at the list of article.
